Hello, I'm Kevin.

I'm a freelance writer based in Colorado.

I was born in Milwaukee, moved west, and now live a double life as a computer programmer and freelance writer. My enthusiasm for travel writing was born while on work assignments in Hawaii. Extended trips to India and South America pushed me to take journalism seriously.

I attended graduate school for journalism at Northwestern University and have written for national clients including Forbes Travel, MarketWatch and The Tennessean, as well as regional publications like Modern In Denver magazine. 

I'm also making my way through the world’s most famous hikes, despite my questionable sense of direction.
